Buzz Zone at the Pavilion from £8.80, Ollie Polly £6.50, Cozy Joy £4.95: seven Bromley soft play centres and three rainy-day trips, with hours and rules.
For soft play in Bromley borough, most families end up at one of MyTime Active’s three Buzz Zones: the Pavilion in Bromley town centre, the Spa at Beckenham and Walnuts in Orpington, all for children up to 11. Families with under-5s also use the play cafés: Ollie Polly in West Wickham, Raffy’s in Eden Park and Cozy Joy in Penge. Every entry was checked against the venue’s own website on 27 October 2026.
We have not visited these places for this guide, and nothing here is a review. Each entry sets out what the venue publishes: ages, prices, session lengths, opening hours and house rules. Hygiene ratings come from the Food Standards Agency (FSA) and apply to the venue’s café or kitchen. Prices change and sessions sell out in the school holidays, so check before you go.
Soft play centres
Buzz Zone at the Pavilion, Bromley town centre
The Pavilion, MyTime Active’s leisure centre next to the Glades, has a Buzz Zone for children aged 0 to 11 with “multi-layered climbing frames, colourful ball ponds, mouse holes, rollers, slides, rope bridges, air machines”, its soft play page says. For registered customers it costs £1 for a baby under one, £8.80 for ages one to three and £10.15 for ages four to 11; subscribed members go free. It is open daily from 9.15am to 5.45pm, with last entry an hour before closing. MyTime’s rules say children wear socks and no shoes, no food goes into the play area, and an adult must stay with them: one adult to every two under-4s, or every four older children. Enter from Queen’s Gardens next to Wagamama or from Kentish Way. The Pavilion Restaurant is rated 5 for hygiene (FSA, 11 September 2026). Kentish Way, BR1 3EF. Call 020 8313 9911.
Buzz Zone at the Spa at Beckenham
The Spa’s Buzz Zone is also for ages 0 to 11, with ball ponds, mouse holes, rollers, slides, rope bridges and air machines, and a café overlooking it, its soft play page says. Prices are the same as the Pavilion’s: £1 under one, £8.80 for ages one to three, £10.15 for ages four to 11, free for subscribed members. Sessions are an hour and a half, daily from 9.30am to 5pm. Vouchers for free entry or £3 off are accepted only on weekdays in school term. The area sometimes closes early for private parties, and the page lists those dates. Walnuts also runs a crèche at half term and in the school holidays, plus day camps. It takes no more than eight children a session, its own site says. A play session lasts an hour and a half and costs £8, with one adult included; an extra adult is £2, and babies under one are free with a paying sibling. The 1pm session is half price at £4. Children must wear socks, and missed sessions are not refunded. The coffee comes from 80 Stone Coffee Roasters in Croydon. Eden Park station is across the road, and the 194, 356 and 358 buses stop nearby. Hygiene rating 5 (FSA, 17 January 2025). 430 Upper Elmers End Road, BR3 3HQ.

We could not find Cozy Joy on the FSA register under its name or its address. 17 Wordsworth Road, SE20 7JF. Open 9am to 4pm, Monday to Saturday.
Rainy days beyond soft play
Bowling and the wave pool at the Pavilion, Bromley
The Pavilion has 12 bowling lanes “with bumpers and ramps for the kids”, arcade machines and a restaurant and bar, MyTime’s bowling page says. A game is £9.80 a person, or £8.60 for members, and games cost £1 each from 9am to 11am on weekdays. Every game must be booked online or through the MyTime app. Bowling opens at 10am on Monday and Wednesday, 11am on Tuesday and Thursday and 9am at weekends, and runs until 10pm or 11pm. The leisure pool has a wave machine. A family splash session costs £9.55 for an adult, £6.85 for a junior aged four to 15 and £1.05 for a child under four. Wave times change in the school holidays, so check the timetable in the app. Kentish Way, BR1 3EF.
Chislehurst Caves
Every visitor sees the caves’ chalk passages on a lamp-lit guided tour lasting 45 to 50 minutes. Tours leave on the hour from 10am, the last at 4pm, the caves’ visit page says. Tickets are bought at the ticket office on the day: £10 for adults aged 16 to 63, £8 for over-64s and £8 for children aged three to 15, with under-3s free. The caves open Wednesday to Sunday, on bank holidays except Christmas and New Year, and every day in the local school holidays. Children must be with someone aged 18 or over. The caves say under-3s may find them “a little intimidating”. The floors are uneven, so pushchairs are hard going. Wear boots or trainers. There is a free car park and a café. The café is rated 4 for hygiene (FSA, 25 April 2025). Caveside Close, Old Hill, BR7 5QX, a short walk from Chislehurst station.
Biggin Hill Memorial Museum
The museum’s admission ticket covers the exhibitions, a Teddy Cooper activity pack for younger visitors, and the VR Spitfire Experience on the days it runs, its visit page says. The chapel, gardens, shop and Nightingale Café, which overlooks the airport runway, are free. From 1 November to 31 March it is open Tuesday to Sunday, 10am to 4pm, with last admission to the exhibition at 3pm. The museum suggests allowing an hour and a half. Tickets are sold at the door: £8.50 for adults and £4.50 for children (£9.35 and £4.60 with Gift Aid), with under-5s free and a family ticket at £21. You do not need to book. The Nightingale Café is rated 5 for hygiene (FSA, 2 September 2026). Main Road, Biggin Hill, TN16 3EJ.
How we chose
These are the indoor play places Bromley families search for. We chose them on the public record, not on taste. Each one had to publish its own details online: what it offers, the ages it takes and when it opens. Each also had to be trading now. Where the café has an FSA hygiene rating, it is 3 or above. Three places are not here. AirJump Trampoline Park on Lagoon Road, Orpington, says it is “temporarily closed until further notice”. MyTime’s notice of 26 October 2026 says Darrick Wood Pool, which has the borough’s newest under-6 soft play, is closed for urgent repairs and a structural survey, so ring 01689 857 021 before going there. Darrick Wood normally charges £3 for one child and one adult. Classes and stay-and-play groups that you book by the term are not listed. Prices and hours are as published on 27 October 2026.
