Lavender House from £27.95, Bromley Court Hotel from £30: six Bromley afternoon teas with prices, notice periods and hours, checked October 2026.

For afternoon tea in Bromley borough, most people land on Bromley Court Hotel on Bromley Hill; the Manor at Bickley, which serves it every afternoon; and the Lavender House Cafe in Sundridge Park, the cheapest here at £27.95. For something different, Ruxley Manor serves it in private garden pods. Every entry was checked against the venue’s own website on 27 October 2026.

We have not had afternoon tea at these places for this guide, and nothing here is a review. Each entry sets out what the venue publishes: what is on the stand, the price per head, how much notice it needs and when it is served. Hygiene ratings come from the Food Standards Agency (FSA). Menus change with the seasons, and most of these venues switch to a Christmas menu in November, so check before you book.

How we chose

These are the afternoon teas people search for in Bromley borough. We chose them on the public record, not on taste: a published afternoon tea menu with a price, clear booking rules, and the FSA hygiene rating. Every venue here is rated 4 or 5. We left out places that do not publish an afternoon tea menu of their own. Holwood Farm’s café in Keston is not here because its café page does not mention afternoon tea; call it to ask. Delivery-only afternoon tea boxes are not listed. Prices, hours and notice periods are as published on 27 October 2026; check before you go, especially from November, when most of these switch to Christmas menus.
