South London Christmas Tree Farm is closed for 2026, so here is who else sells real trees near Bromley, including Hewitts Farm. Checked November 2026.

South London Christmas Tree Farm says it is closed for the 2026 season, so the first place to try for a real Christmas tree near Bromley this year is Hewitts Farm at Orpington, which says it stocks them from the first week of December.

Few sellers had published anything for 2026 when we checked on 5 November. This page says which have and which have not, and we will add dates and prices as they appear.

The quick answer

  • South London Christmas Tree Farm: closed for 2026. Its home page says the rest is “to allow the trees to grow bigger & better for the 2027 season”.
  • Hewitts Farm, Orpington: from the first week of December, cut Nordmann and traditional trees, plus potted trees. No prices published.
  • Crystal Palace Park: tree sales are on its festive programme, with no dates or prices yet.
  • Ruxley Manor: artificial trees only in its online Christmas range.

Hewitts Farm, Orpington

Hewitts Farm is a family-run farm of 78 acres just outside Orpington. Its website says that “from the first week of December” it has a large selection of Nordmann non-drop and traditional trees in all sizes, cut by a grower in Scotland that has supplied it for over 15 years. It also sells potted trees, wreaths, mistletoe and tree stands (Hewitts Farm).

That wording is a standing notice with no year on it, and the site lists no prices. It gives farm shop hours of Tuesday to Saturday 9am to 5pm and Sunday 10am to 4pm, closed on Mondays. Check with the farm before a special trip, as December hours may differ.

Crystal Palace Park

The park’s listing for its Winter Makers Market on 5, 6, 12 and 13 December says the market runs alongside “wreath-making workshops, the Food Market, Christmas tree sales and live choir performances”. The park had not published dates, prices or a seller for the trees on 5 November. More on the market is on our Christmas markets page.

South London Christmas Tree Farm

The farm has sold trees for over 35 years, on its own account, and says it is within easy reach of Junction 4 of the M25, the A21 and the Orpington Bypass. Its home page now reads “CLOSED FOR THE 2026 SEASON”. If you went last year, this is the one to check before you set off, because it means no trees there this Christmas.

Delivery

Jacksons Nurseries has a page advertising Christmas tree delivery to Bromley. It is an online retailer rather than a local yard. Check the price and the delivery date at the checkout, as we have not compared them.

Places that have not listed real trees

  • Ruxley Manor, Sidcup. Its online Christmas tree range is pre-lit, unlit and flocked artificial trees on 5 November (Ruxley Manor).
  • Christmas Tree Farm, Downe. Despite the name, the website is mainly about visiting the animals, with admission at £8 for adults and £5 for children aged 2 to 16. Its tree page was last changed in 2021, and nothing on the site mentions 2026 sales. It is on 01689 861603 (Christmas Tree Farm).
  • Coolings, Knockholt. A search of its website found no 2026 real tree listing (Coolings).
  • Scout groups and charities. We found no 2026 tree sale from a Bromley, Orpington or Beckenham group. If you are running one, email us and we will list it free.

Getting there and getting rid of it

Parking in the town centres is on our parking in Bromley page, and closures on the approach roads are on our roadworks and travel page.

After Christmas, the council has run a free drop-off for real trees on one weekend in January. Its tree recycling page was still showing last season’s sites when our Christmas bin collections page last checked.

Still to be confirmed

  • Crystal Palace Park’s tree sale dates and prices.
  • Hewitts Farm’s 2026 prices.
  • Any scout, charity or pop-up sale in the borough.

We check this page again in mid-November and early December. Selling trees in the borough? Email hello@bromleyonline.co.uk with your dates, address and prices. It is free.
